The iconic ‘Grand Old Lady’ of Victoria Falls beckons you to experience a retreat at a once in a lifetime, world famous hotel. The majestic Victoria Falls Hotel, popularly known as “the grand old lady of the Falls”, is one of only 3 ISO accredited hotels in Zimbabwe. She has got to be one of our favourite hotels and you have to experience her sheer elegance in this modern world of helicopters and bungee jumping. This awesome hotel built in 1904 has recently been redecorated and refurbished and now combines the old with the new! She is set in lush tropical gardens with lily ponds and palm trees and features the most incredible view of the Victoria Falls Bridge from the front veranda. The ‘smoke that thunders’ or ‘Mosi-O-Tunya” is clearly visible and audible from the landmark hotel. Imagine yoga from the deck overlooking the backdrop of the Victoria Falls!
