Experience the World Heritage Site of the Rhodes Matopos National Park, ticking off bucket list adventures, which include meeting the endangered White Rhino on foot, and listening to the tales of the Bushmen (San) and gazing upon their Rock Art which they leave behind as their legacy to the entire human race. Start each day stretching your muscles and quieting your mind under the experienced eye of one of our yoga instructors, all whilst having the granite panoramas of the Matobo Hills as your backdrop. The quiet seclusion of the granite kopjes provides the perfect setting for rest and rejuvenation for both body, mind and soul!
The National Art Gallery and Natural History Museum are perfect add-on visits to complement the tour and offer you an opportunity to purchase a creation from our local talented artists!
Accommodation on this tour is comfortable and meals are delicious, and all about putting goodness back into your body.
Should you wish to visit more curio markets, we will happily arrange a trip to City Hall, where you can meet the locals and buy some more affordable souvenirs.
This recently renovated 10 bed lodge overlooks an incredible valley of Matobo panorama, and is situated in a different area of Matopos to our other 2 accommodation options for this retreat, offering our clients some diversity in landscapes. Each well-spaced en-suite chalet offers comfortable furnishings and breath taking views across a valley to a large granite ‘Dwala’. The deck and lawn adjoining the dining room creates the perfect place for a sunset yoga session. Suitable for larger groups travelling on our World Heritage Retreat.
